Ingredients list for Brown Sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups Orange juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Orange marmalade
  • 12-15 Fresh oranges pips discarded

Method

  1. Heat 2 tbsps butter in a non stick pan. Add ginger and saute for 1 minute.Add orange juice, salt and marmalade. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Combine remaining butter with refined flour in a bowl. Mix well and divide the mixture into small portions.Add red chillies to pan and mix. Add butter-flour mixture portions and mix well with a whisk.
  3. Add orange segments, mix well and cook till the sauce thickens.
