Ingredients for Breadfruit Chips Recipe

  • Breadfruit 1

  • Oil for deep-frying

  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

1. Trim the breadfruit, quarter it, remove the hard centre and peel them. Further cut them thinly into strips and put them into salted water.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan.

Step 3

Drain the chips from the water and deep fry the chips till golden and crisp.

Step 4

Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle a little salt over them if you wish and serve hot.
