Ingredients list for Boondi ki Sabzi

  • 1 cup Boondi unsalted
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • a pinch Asafoetida
  • 2 Spring onions with greens chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté for 30 seconds. Add asafoetida and spring onions, mix and sauté for a minute.
  2. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, boondi and salt and mix well. Add ¼ cup water and chopped coriander, mix, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Serve hot.
