Bhuna Masala Sandwich

Ingredients list for Bhuna Masala Sandwich

  • 8 White bread slices
  • 1 packet Bhuna Masala readymade
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • ¼ medium Cauliflower separated into small florets and blanched
  • 1 medium Carrot peeled, chopped and blanched
  • 6-7 French beans stringed, chopped and blanched
  • 2-3 medium Potatoes boiled, peeled and grated
  • to taste Salt
  • 6 tablespoons Butter
  • ½ cup Cheese grated

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add bhuna masala and sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Add cauliflower, carrots, French beans and potatoes and mix well.
  3. Add salt and mix well, cook for 3-4 minutes. Mash the mixture lightly while cooking.
  4. Apply butter on one side of all the bread slices. Spread bhuna masala mixture over 4 of them. Sprinkle grated cheese and chaat masala on top and cover with the remaining bread slices.
  5. Apply a little butter on either side of the sandwiches and place them, two at a time, on a preheated griller. Grill till the sandwiches are light golden and crisp.
  6. Serve immediately.
