By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Lady Fingers, Mutton On Bone Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Mutton Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Bhindi Gosht 250 grams Lady Fingers sliced diagonally and deep-fried 750 grams Mutton On Bone cut into 1 inch pieces on the bone 3 tablespoons Oil 6-8 Cloves 6-8 Black peppercorns 2 Black cardamoms 1 cup Browned onion paste 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder 3 teaspoons Coriander powder to taste Salt 2-3 Green chillies slit 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 1 cup Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add cloves, black peppercorns, black cardamoms and sauté for a minute. Add browned onion paste and sauté for one minute. Add mutton pieces and sauté for five minutes. Add ginger- garlic paste and sauté for two minutes. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt and sauté for two minutes or till the oil separates. Add green chillies and three to four cups of water, cover and cook till five to six whistles are given out. Open the cooker when the pressure reduces completely. Add garam masala powder and mix well. Add fried ladyfingers and mix well. Add lemon juice and mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
