Put the brinjals in a blender jar and hand blend it slightly. When cumin seeds begin to change colour, add garlic and saute till they get slightly burnt. Add onion and ginger and saute for 1 minute. Add mutton mince and salt and saute till well browned. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder and mix well. Continue to saute for 2 minutes. Add 1½ cups water and mix. Add green chillies, cover and cook till mince gets cooked. Put the brinjal stem in the pan with the mince and cook. When mince is almost done, add tomatoes and cover and cook till mince is completely done. Chop some fresh coriander and add along with brinjals and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Serve hot.
