Basil Minced Chicken Canapes Canape cups topped with basil flavoured chicken minced and baked. By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Basil, Chicken Mince Cuisine Chinese Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Basil Minced Chicken Canapes 10-12 Basil torn 350 grams Chicken Mince wash and pat dry 16 Canape cups 2 tablespoons Oil 4-5 cloves Garlic chopped 2 Onion finely chopped 2 medium Spring onion chopped 2 Green chilli chopped 3 tablespoons Oyster sauce 1 teaspoon Light soy sauce to taste Salt Method Preheat an oven to 150ºC. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Add the garlic, onions and spring onions and sauté for two to three minutes. Add the chicken mince and mix well. Add half the basil leaves, green chillies, oyster sauce, light soy sauce and salt. Sauté and cook for two minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Once cooled, put the mixture in individual canapés and arrange them in a baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven till the canapés are lightly browned.
