Ingredients list for Basil Almond Soup

  • 8-10 Fresh Basil Leaves chopped
  • 1 cup Almond Paste
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
  • to taste White pepper powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cream

Method

  1. Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté till fragrant. Add almond paste and saute for half a minute.
  2. Add white pepper powder, salt and five cups of water. Mix well and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for two to three minutes. Add cream and basil leaves, mix well and simmer for two minutes. Serve hot with bread sticks.
