By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Fish Fillets, Fresh Orange juice Cuisine Fusion Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Baked Fish Fillet With Citrus Sauce 8 Fish Fillets 2 tablespoons Fresh Orange juice to taste Salt to taste Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon Lemon rind grated 1 teaspoon Orange rind grated 2 tablespoons Fresh orange juice 4 tablespoons Cream a few Fresh basil leaves Method Preheat oven to 180°C. Generously grease a large baking dish with melted butter. Tear a few of the basil leaves with hand. Reserve a few sprigs for garnishing. Lay the fish fillets skin side down in the baking dish, in one layer. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. In a small bowl, combine the lemon and orange rinds and orange juice. Pour the mixture over the fish. Bake in the preheated oven until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. It should take about ten to twelve minutes. Transfer the fish to a warm platter. Strain the juices from the baking tray into a small pan. Stir in the cream and hand torn basil. Bring to a slow boil and continue to cook till it thickens. Remove from heat. Pour the citrus cream over the warm fish fillets. Garnish with fresh basil sprigs and serve.
