Baked Beans Wrap

Ingredients list for Baked Beans Wrap

  • 1½ cups Baked beans
  • 4 Whole wheat flour (atta) rotis
  • 2 medium Onions
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 medium Green capsicum chopped
  • 5-6 Garlic cloves thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • as required Tomato ketchup
  • as required Red chilli sauce
  • a few Iceberg lettuce leaves shredded
  • 4 tablespoons Cheese grated

Method

  1. Finely chop one onion and slice the other.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add chopped onion, green capsicum and garlic and sauté.
  3. Add baked beans and sauté. Add coriander leaves and mix. Add salt and mix.
  4. Place rotis on the worktop. Spread a little tomato ketchup and red chilli sauce on each of them.
  5. Place some of baked beans mixture on one side of each roti. Sprinkle sliced onion, lettuce and grated cheese over the baked beans and roll the rotis.
  6. You can cut each roll into diagonal pieces and serve or wrap each roll in aluminium foil and serve.
