Apple and Walnut Raita This raita is ideal for the vegetarians but even the non-vegetarians will enjoy it. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Apples, Walnuts Cuisine Indian Course Raitas Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Apple and Walnut Raita 3-4 medium Apples peeled and cut into small cubes 6 tablespoons Walnuts broken + a few for garnish 2½ cups Yogurt 2 tablespoons Sugar ½ teaspoon Red chilli powder ½ teaspoon Roasted cumin powder ½ teaspoon Chaat masala to taste Salt Method Heat a non-stick pan. Add apples, sugar and walnuts and mix well and let the mixture caramelize. In the meanwhile, take yogurt in a bowl. Add red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala and salt and mix well. Chill the yogurt in the refrigerator. Once the apples and walnuts are caramelized, transfer them onto a plate and let them cool down to room temperature. Add apple and walnut mixture to the chilled yogurt and mix well.
