Ingredients list for Apple Seviyan Kheer

  • 2 medium Red apples
  • 2 cups Vermicelli
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 2 cups Reduced milk
  • 200 grams Sweet condensed milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • 6-8 + to garnish Almonds , slivered
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar

Method

  1. Quarter apples and remove core. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Grate apples with skin and add to the pan and saute for 4-5 minutes or till light brown.
  2. Break vermicelli and add, and saute for 1-2 minutes or till lightly browned. Add reduced milk, mix well and let the vermicelli cook.
  3. Add sweet condensed milk and mix well. Add green cardamom powder and almonds and mix well.
  4. Add sugar and mix well and cook till sugar melts.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowls, garnish with almond slivers and serve hot.
