Ingredients list for Apple Baby Spinach and Blue Cheese Salad

  • 1 medium Red apple
  • 20-24 Baby spinach leaves cleaned
  • 50 grams Cheese blue
  • 2 tablespoons Hazelnuts
  • 3-4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • Mustard paste 2 teaspoons

Method

  1. Roast hazelnuts in a non-stick pan till they turn light brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Slice apple and place in a bowl. Add olive oil, salt, crushed peppercorns, mustard paste and mix well.
  3. Add spinach and mix well.
  4. Place the salad on a serving dish. Crumble blue cheese and add. Sprinkle roasted hazelnuts on top and serve immediately.
