Ingredients list for Ananas Ka Meetha

  • 1 medium Pineapple
  • 1 cup Mawa
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 5-6 Cashewnuts
  • 1 teaspoon Sunflower seeds (charoli/chironji)
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder

  1. Peel, wash and finely chop pineapple. Grate khoya and keep aside. Heat milk and keep aside. On a griddle roast cashewnuts and sunflower seeds. Cool and roughly chop cashewnuts.
  2. Heat ghee in a kadai, add chopped pineapple and sauté for five to seven minutes or till all the water is absorbed. Add khoya and continue sautéing for five minutes till it emits a fragrant aroma.
  3. Add milk and sugar and cook stirring continuously till the mixture is almost dry. Add cardamom powder and stir well. Serve hot garnished with chopped cashewnuts and sunflower seeds and serve hot.
