Ingredients list for Almond Biscuits

  • 80 grams Almonds sliced
  • 150 grams Refined Flour
  • to grease Butter 50 grams +
  • 100 grams Brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease the baking tray with butter.
  2. Cream butter and brown sugar in a bowl till light and fluffy.
  3. Separate egg whites, add to the mixture and whisk till the eggs are incorporated into the mixture.
  4. Add refined flour and almond slices and fold into the mixture and make a soft dough.
  5. Roll the dough into one-fourth inch thick sheet. Cut with square shaped cookie cutter, place them on a baking tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for fifteen to twenty minutes or till the cookies turn light brown.
  6. Remove the tray from the oven and cool. Arrange the biscuits on a serving plate and serve.
