It’s time again, for us to run in the Mumbai Stanchart Marathon to show our care and support towards the cause of increasing awareness on Autism.
As always, we are doing our bit in raising funds for the Forum for Autism that helps in creating awareness and also actively participates in helping parents of children affected with this disorder. The Forum for Autism, a registered Charitable Trust, is the parent support group, formed to help out parents of the Autistic children in our society.
United Way of Mumbai is the Official Charity Partner to the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2013.
Why do we run the marathon year after year? Because this provides us with a platform to spread awareness about Autism which in turn can help make a difference to the lives of the underprivileged. This can be achieved by raising pledges.
Pledge raising is when we ask you – friends, family and colleagues – to support our run by donating money to the good cause that we have chosen.
This year, we wish to raise a sum of at least Rs. Five Lacs (Rs.5,00,000/-) for the cause of Autism. Out of this, we are starting with our personal donation of Rs. Fifty Thousand (Rs.50,000/-).
You can help us in achieving this target by contributing any amount, starting from Rs. Five Hundred (Rs.500/-) onwards.
For donations you can send a cheque payable to “United Way of Mumbai” and courier it to the following address: latest by 13th January 2013.
C-18, Dalia Estate, Near Fun Republic,
Off New Link Road, Andheri (W),
