This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 11 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Basmati rice, Firm Beancurd Cuisine Thai Course Rice Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Thai Rice 3 cups Basmati rice cooked 4 tablespoon Firm Beancurd 50 grams Firm beancurd (tofu) 2 Eggs 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped 1 cup Shrimps shelled and deveined 1 teaspoon Tamarind paste 1 teaspoon Fish sauce 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Brown sugar 1/4 cup Crushed roasted peanuts 1/2 cup Bean sprouts Method Advertisment Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non stick pan. Slice tofu and shallow fry.Heat 2 tbsps oil in another non stick pan. Break eggs into a bowl and whisk. Add garlic to the second pan and saute lightly. Add shrimps, tamarind paste, fish sauce and mix. Add red chilli powder, brown sugar and mix. Add rice and mix. Drain tofu slices and place on a plate. Add eggs to the same pan and scramble and add to the rice. Mix well and saute for 2 minutes. Add crushed peanuts and most of the bean sprouts. Roughly break some of sautéed tofu and add and mix lightly. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with remaining tofu and remaining bean sprouts and serve hot.
