By Sanjeev Kapoor 12 Feb 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Bread Slices, Gram Flour Cuisine Gujarati Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Stuffed Bread Pudla 8 Bread Slices 4 tablespoons Gram Flour 1 small Green capsicum chopped 1 small Red capsicum chopped 1 medium Tomato finely chopped 2 tablespoons Cabbage finely chopped 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 Green chilli finely chopped Juice of ½ lemon to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped for shallow frying Oil Method Advertisment Mix gram flour, green capsicum, red capsicum, tomato, cabbage, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, green chilli, lemon juice and salt in a bowl. Add a little water and mix well to make a thick batter. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Place the bread slices on it one by one, pour a ladleful of batter on it and let the underside cook. Flip, drizzle some more oil on it and shallow-fry till evenly done from other side as well. Serve hot with green chutney and tamarind chutney.
