Ingredients for Strawberry Syllabub with Red Wine Recipe

  • Strawberries hulled and cut into small pieces 8-10

  • Red wine ½ cup

  • Sugar 2 tablespoons

  • Yogurt 1 cup

  • Whipped cream 1½ cups

  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnishing

Method

Step 1

Take strawberries in a bowl. Add sugar and wine, mix, cover with cling film and set aside for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Take yogurt in another bowl. Add whipped cream gradually and fold in well.

Step 3

Blend the strawberry-wine mixture with a hand blender to make smooth mixture.

Step 4

Take ¾ yogurt mixture in another bowl. Add ¾ of strawberry-wine mixture and fold well.

Step 5

Fill a piping bag fitted with a small star nozzle with strawberry-cream mixture.

Step 6

Put yogurt mixture in individual serving glasses filling ¾ of it. Pipe out some strawberry-cream mixture and pour some strawberry-wine mixture on top. Repeat the process till all the ingredients are used up.

Step 7

Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and serve immediately.
