By Sanjeev Kapoor 03 Mar 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Red chilli powder Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Spiced Chocolate Cookies 1½ cups Refined flour (maida) 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder ½ teaspoon Cinnamon powder 1 cup Dark chocolate melted ¼ cup dark chocolate chips 1 cup brown sugar/jaggery ½ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar) 114 grams Butter softened 2 Eggs ½ teaspoon Baking soda ½ cup Cocoa powder for dusting Icing sugar Method Preheat oven to 180° C. Line a baking tray with a silicon mat. Combine brown sugar, castor sugar and butter in a bowl and whisk well with an electric beater. Break in eggs and whisk. Add melted dark chocolate and whisk well. Sieve together flour, chilli powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and cocoa powder into the mixture and whisk. Add chocolate chips and whisk well. Fill a piping bag with this mixture and pipe out cookies on the lined baking tray. Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
