Ingredients list for Savoury Biscuit and Paneer Canapes

  • 16 Salted cracker biscuits
  • 150 grams Cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespo teaspoon Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • 4 teaspoon pesto sauce for topping
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • 16 teaspoons cream cheese

Method

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick grill pan.
  2. Cut cottage cheese into thick slices. Add salt, pesto sauce, crushed peppercorns and 1 tsp oil and rub the slices well.
  3. Cut 16 small roundels from cottage cheese slices using a small cookie cutter.
  4. Place cottage cheese roundels on the pan and grill, flipping, for 2 minutes on each side or till grill marks appear on them.
  5. Quarter cherry tomatoes.
  6. Apply 1 tsp cream cheese on each cracker biscuit. Place a grilled cottage cheese roundel on each and top with a cherry tomato quarter, little pesto sauce and crushed peppercorns.
  7. Serve immediately.
