Ingredients list for Potato Wafers

  • 4 medium Potatoes peeled
  • to deep fry Oil
  • + for sprinkling Salt to taste

Method

  1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  2. Using a slicer, thinly slice 2 potatoes directly into hot oil.
  3. Deep-fry basket-shaped potato slices in hot oil till crisp and lightly browned. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. Mix ¼ cup water and salt to taste in a bowl. Sprinkle this to the hot oil.
  5. Using a slicer, thinly slice potatoes directly into hot oil. Deep-fry till crisp and lightly browned. Drain on absorbent paper.
  6. Transfer both the wafers in different serving bowls, sprinkle salt and serve as required.
