Sieve together refined flour and baking powder into a bowl. Whisk together eggs and vanilla essence in another bowl for 1-2 minutes. Add sugar, little by little, and whisk for 5-7 minutes or till fluffy. Add butter and whisk further for 2-3 minutes. Add plums and flour and mix using cut and fold method. Pour the mixture into a greased cake tin and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the cake tin, garnish with fresh plum slices, dust some icing sugar and serve.
