Ingredients list for Papdi Chaat

  • 3 Large whole wheat tortillas
  • to deep fry Oil
  • 1/2 cup Mixed sprouts
  • 1/4 cup Onions chopped
  • 1-2 Green chillies chopped
  • 2 Medium potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 1 teaspoon Mixture of red chilli powder,dried fenugreek leaves,salt, dried mango powder
  • as required Sweet date and tamarind chutney
  • as required Green chutney

Method

  1. Cut the tortillas into bite sized pieces.
  2. Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan and deep fry the pieces till crisp. Drain on absorbent napkin.
  3. Put mixed sprouts, onions, green chillies, potato and spice mixture in a bowl and mix well.
  4. Arrange the tortilla pieces on a serving plate, put some of the sprout mixture on each. Drizzle a little sweet date and tamarind chutney and green chutney.
  5. Serve immediately.
