Ingredients list for Noodle Crusted Chicken Bites

  • 400 grams Boneless chicken cut into thin slices
  • 150 grams Instant Noodles crushed coarsely
  • 2 packets Instant Noodles seasoning
  • ½ tablespoon Dried mixed herbs
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • 2 Eggs
  • Refined flour (maida) for rolling
  • for deep-frying Oil

Method

  1. Take chicken pieces in a bowl. Add noodle seasoning, mixed herbs, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chilli flakes, lemon juice and crushed peppercorns and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Break eggs into a bowl. Add salt and beat well. Spread flour on a plate.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan.
  4. Roll the marinated chicken in flour, dip in the beaten eggs and coat them with noodles.
  5. Deep-fry the chicken bites in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
