Ingredients list for Moru Kali

  • 1 1/2 cups Yogurt (moru), thick and sour
  • 1 cup Rice flour
  • 3 tablespoons Coconut,scraped
  • 2 Green chillies,finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 1 Whole dry red chilli,broken
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Split Bengal gram (chana dal)
  • 10-12 Curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves,chopped

Method

  1. Mix yogurt and rice flour in a bowl. Add coconut, green chillies and salt and mix. Add a little water to get a dropping consistency.
