Ingredients list for Mixed Sprout Tahiri

  • 1/2 cup Rice sprouted
  • 1/4 cup Brown Bengal Gram sprouted
  • 1/4 cup Matki sprouts sprouted
  • 1 cup Rice soaked
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 7-8 Cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 2 Green chillies slit
  • 2 medium Potatoes cubed
  • 7-8 florets Cauliflower
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Buttermilk

Method

  1. Heat oil in a rice cooker which is put on cook mode.
    Add cloves and cumin seeds and sauté.
  2. Slice onion and add along with asafoetida and green chillies and sauté.
    Add sprouted kala chana, moong and matki and mix.
  3. Add cauliflower, potatoes, rice and salt and mix well.
    Add 1½ cups water and buttermilk and mix well.
  4. Cover the cooker and cook till done.
    Serve hot.
