Ingredients list for Masaledar Besan Ki Roti

  • 1 cup Bengal Gram
  • 1/2 cup Wholewheat Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Cumin powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dry mango powder (amchur)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Oil
  • 4 tablespoons Ghee

Method

  1. Mix together all the ingredients together except ghee and add enough water to knead into a soft dough. Divide into 6 parts. Roll out each part into a chappati, fold into half and again into half to make a triangle.
  2. Roll out again to make a triangular roti. Heat a tava and fry each roti with a little ghee till both sides are well done. Apply a little ghee and crush with your hands. Serve hot.
