Ingredients for Lauki raita Recipe

  • Bottle gourd (lauki or doodhi) 250 grams

  • Yogurt (Natural low-fat) chilled 375 grams

  • Salt a pinch

  • Red chilli powder a pinch

  • Roasted cumin powder a pinch


Step 1

Peel and grate the bottle gourd. Boil the grated bottle gourd with the salt for 5 minutes. Drain and allow to cool.

Step 2

Whisk the chilled yogurt and add the red chilli powder. Add the bottle gourd and mix well. Serve sprinkled with cumin powder.
