Ingredients list for Kheer With Fresh Kiwi

  • 6 medium Kiwi, peeled & finely chopped
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 6 cups Milk
  • 2/3 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 12 Green cardamoms, deseeded
  • 1/4 cup Almonds, sliced
  • 2/3 cup Fresh cream

Method

  1. Wash the rice. Boil three cups water, add rice and cook uncovered for five minutes.
  2. Heat milk, sugar, cinnamon powder in a non stick pan. Once a boil comes, add rice and stir well.
  3. Simmer and cook for twenty to thirty minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and add kiwi, cardamom seeds and half the almonds.Add cream and mix well.
  5. Serve garnished with remaining almond slices.
