Ingredients list for Khasta Missi Roti

  • 1 cup Gram Flour
  • 1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 small Onion chopped
  • 1 Green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger powder
  • 1/4 cup Dry fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)

Method

  1. In a large bowl combine together gram flour, whole wheat flour, onions, green chilli, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, carrom seeds, ginger powder, fenugreek and ½ cup water and knead a soft dough.
  2. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll them into a circular chapati.
  3. Heat a non stick tawa and cook till golden brown on both the sides.
  4. Serve hot with dal.
