Ingredients list for Kanda Peet Perun

  • 2 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
  • 2 large Onion
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 2 Green chilli
  • 2 medium Tomato
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 4-5 Spring onion green
  • 2-3 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Method

  1. Chop the onions finely. Heat oil in a non-stick wok.
  2. Chop the green chillies finely. Add the onions to the oil and sauté till soft.
  3. Chop tomatoes finely. Add green chillies to the wok and mix well.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté till the raw smells disappear. Add tomatoes and sauté till soft.
  5. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
  6. Chop spring onion greens and add to the wok. Chop coriander leaves and add to the wok. Add ¼ cup water and mix well.
  7. Sprinkle gram flour and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
