Transfer the mixture into a bowl. Roughly chop fresh turmeric, slit green chillies and cut the lemons into 8 pieces each. Take a glass jar, place some turmeric pieces at the bottom. Place some green chillies over them and top with some lemon and salt. Repeat the layers. Pour the vinegar mixture on the top. Close the jar and set aside for 7 days. Serve as required.
