By Sanjeev Kapoor 28 Sep 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Spinach, Split pigeon pea (toor dal/arhar dal) Cuisine Indian Course Soups Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Green Soup 350 grams Spinach chopped 2 tablespoons Split pigeon pea (toor dal/arhar dal) 1 inch piece Ginger chopped 10-15 Black peppercorns 1 medium Onion to taste Salt 4 tablespoons Butter Method Pressure cook, spinach, onion, ginger, peppercorns, split pigeon peas and salt togeher with 300 ml water. Cook till 2 whistles. Remove from heat and allow it to cool. Grind the mixture well. Boil the puree again till hot.
