By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Aug 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cooked rice, Chinese five spice powder Cuisine Chinese Course Rice Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Five Spice Rice 2 cups Cooked rice 1 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder 2 tablespoons Oil 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped 2 Spring onion greens sliced 1/3 cup Button mushrooms sliced 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce Method Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add garlic and spring onion bulbs and sauté till golden brown. Add button mushrooms and sauté till they are tender. Add five spice powder, red chilli flakes, salt and sauté for a minute. Add the rice and dark soy sauce and toss to mix. Add the spring onion greens and mix and sauté for a minute. Serve hot.
