Ingredients list for Daalia Chutney

  • 1 1/2 cups Roasted Bengal gram
  • 2 Green chillies, chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 3/4 cup Yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 Dried red chilli, broken
  • 5-6 Curry leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder

Method

  1. Grind roasted gram, green chillies, salt and cumin seeds in a mixer. Transfer into a bowl.
  2. Add yogurt and mix well. Heat oil in a non stick pan, add mustard seeds, red chilli, curry leaves and turmeric powder.
  3. Add this tempering to the chutney and mix well. Serve.
