By Sanjeev Kapoor 11 Nov 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chocolate chips, Refined flour (maida) Cuisine British Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chocolate Chip Waffle 1/2 cup Chocolate chips 1 1/2 cups Refined flour (maida) 3/4 cup Powdered sugar 1 teaspoon Baking powder 2 Eggs 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence as required Milk Butter 2 tablespoons + for greasing Method Sift flour and powdered sugar, one by one, into a bowl. Add baking powder and mix well. Make a well in the centre and add eggs in it. Add vanilla essence and whisk well. Add milk, gradually and keep whisking until a smooth batter is formed. Add butter and mix well. Add chocolate chips and mix well. Heat a waffle iron. Grease with some butter, pour the batter into it, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes or till golden and from both sides. Remove from heat, cut into triangles and serve immediately with maple syrup.
