Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken Fiesta Roll Recipe

  • Boneless chicken boiled and shredded 300 grams

  • Hotdogs buns 4

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Onion finely chopped 1 medium

  • Green capsicum finely chopped ½ medium

  • Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon

  • Tomato puree 3-4 tablespoons

  • HP sauce 1 tablespoon

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • brown sugar/jaggery 1 teaspoon

  • Vinegar 1 teaspoon

  • Black olives pitted 6-8

  • Celery finely chopped 1 inch

  • Iceberg lettuce leaves 4-8

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté on high heat till golden. Add onion and sauté till golden.

Step 2

Add capsicum and sauté for 30 seconds. Add chicken, mix and cook on medium heat for 1 minute.

Step 3

Add Worcestershire sauce, tomato puree and HP sauce, mix and cook for 30 seconds.

Step 4

Add crushed peppercorns, chilli powder, salt, brown sugar and vinegar, mix and cook for 1 minute.

Step 5

Slice black olives, add to pan and mix. Add celery and mix well.

Step 6

Slit the buns without cutting through, keep 1-2 lettuce leaves and some chicken mixture.

Step 7

Serve hot.
