Chicken Chilli Rice A delicious chicken rice with green chillies for added flavour besides spiciness This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 08 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Boneless chicken breasts, Green chillies Cuisine Fusion, , , , Course Rice Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chicken Chilli Rice 250 grams Boneless chicken breasts 4-5 Green chillies cups Rice 1 1/2 1 teaspoon Oil 1/2 tablespoon+ 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped ½ tablespoon Ginger chopped 3 cups Chicken stock 2½ teaspoons Soy sauce 1 tablespoon Green chilli sauce to taste Salt to taste White pepper powder 3-4 Spring onions with greens 1 medium Green capsicum seeded and cut into cubes for garnishing Green chilli Method Heat ½ tablespoon oil in a non-stick wok. Add garlic, ginger and sliced green chillies and saute for 2 minutes. Cut chicken into cubes and add to the pan. Mix well and cook till the chicken is half done. Add rice, chicken stock, soy sauce, green chilli sauce, salt and pepper powder, mix well and bring to a boil. Cover and cook on low heat till both the rice and chicken are cooked. Cut spring onion bulbs into halves. Reserve two of the spring onion green stalks. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a small non-stick pan. Add spring onion bulbs and capsicum and saute for 2 minutes. Chop the reserved spring onion green stalks. Add sautéed vegetables and some of the chopped spring onion greens to the rice and mix well.
