Ingredients list for Chicken Cheese Melts

  • 250 grams Boneless chicken boiled, shredded
  • ¼ cup Cheese spread
  • as required Mozzarella cheese grated
  • for garnish Spring onion greens chopped, 2 tablespoon +
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • to sprinkle Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon +
  • to taste Salt
  • 8 White bread slices
  • For topping Butter
  • as required Garlic chopped
  • to sprinkle Garlic flavoured olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180° C.
  2. Take chicken in a bowl. Add cheese spread, 2 tablespoons spring onion greens, crushed peppercorns, 1 teaspoon chili flakes and salt and mix well.
  3. Cut bread slices into roundels with a medium sized cookie cutter.
  4. Spread some butter and some garlic on each roundel. Place them on a baking tray.
  5. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Put some chicken mixture on each baked roundel and top with some cheese.
  7. Place the tray back in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts.
  8. Drizzle some garlic oil and sprinkle some chili flakes on top and serve hot garnished with spring onion greens.
