1/2 cup +
a large pi a few drops
Heat milk in a deep non stick pan. Add ½ cup sugar and stir till sugar dissolves.
Finely powder green cardamoms with 2 tbsps sugar and saffron.
Add 1 tsp of this powder to the milk in the pan.
Store the rest in an airtight container in the refrigerator to use as and when required.
Add chhena and mix. Cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes. Transfer into a bowl, chill and serve.
Or pour into a baking dish and bake for 10-15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C / 350°F.
Cool, chill and serve.
