Cheesy Pesto and Egg Melts These three cheese and egg sandwiches are very filling and ideal for a Sunday brunch. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Mozzarella cheese, Processed cheese Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Cheesy Pesto and Egg Melts for garnish Mozzarella cheese grated, 4 tablespoons + 4 tablespoons Processed cheese grated 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese grated 1 tablespoon Pesto sauce 8 Eggs bolied 8 White bread slices to taste Crushed black peppercorns a pinch Salt as required Butter Method Grate eggs into a bowl. Add pesto sauce, 3 tablespoons mozzarella cheese, crushed peppercorns, salt, processed cheese and Parmesan cheese and mix well. Apply butter on 4 bread slices. Top with a generous portion of egg-cheese mixture, sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top and cover with remaining 4 bread slices. Spread some more butter on top. Heat a non-stick sandwich grilling machine. Place the sandwiches on it, cover and grill till grill marks appear on both sides and the cheese melts.
