Ingredients list for Cheesy Masala Sausage Egg Roll

  • 5 tablespoons Processed cheese grated
  • 8 Chicken sausages
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • a pinch Turmeric powder
  • a pinch Asafoetida
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 8 White bread slices
  • for shallow frying Oil

Method

  1. Mix together cheese, chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, coriander leaves and salt in a bowl. Break the eggs into the bowl and mix well.
  2. Discard the edges of bread slices and flatten with the help of a rolling pin. Place a sausage on one end and roll tightly.
  3. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan.
  4. Dip the bread-sausage rolls in egg mixture and shallow-fry in hot oil till golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
