Ingredients list for Cheesy Banana Puffs

  • 1 cup Processed Cheese
  • 4 Ripe Banana mashed
  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper powder
  • 2 tablespoons Yogurt
  • 5 tablespoons Castor sugar (caster sugar)

Method

  1. Knead together bananas, wheat flour, refined flour, cumin powder, salt, black pepper powder, yogurt, castor sugar and a little water into stiff dough. Cover and set aside for two to three hours.
  2. Divide both the dough and the cheese into eight portions. Stuff each portion of dough with a portion of cheese and roll out into a puri. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep-fry the puris in hot oil till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
