Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Breaded Chicken Recipe

  • Boneless chicken breasts 2

  • Bread crumbs 1 cup

  • Parmesan cheese grated 1/2 cup

  • Eggs 2

  • Oil 1 teaspoon

  • Butter 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder to taste

  • Parsley sprigs for garnish

Method

Step 1

Butterfly the chicken breasts.

Step 2

Spread Parmesan cheese on a plate, break eggs on another plate and whisk. Spread breadcrumbs onto the third place.

Step 3

Heat oil and butter in a non-stick pan.

Step 4

Sprinkle salt and pepper powder on chicken breasts and rub well. Coat chicken in Parmesan cheese, dip in egg and finally coat in breadcrumbs.

Step 5

Place the breaded chicken in the pan and shallow-fry till golden from both sides and the chicken is fully cooked. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 6

Garnish with parsley sprigs and serve hot with tartare sauce and lemon wedge.
