Ingredients for Bread Corn Khees Recipe

  • Bread Slices 4

  • Corn Kernels 1 cup

  • Ginger 1 inch piece

  • Green chilli 3

  • Butter 2 tablespoons

  • Spring onion 2

  • Green capsicum 1/4

  • Red capsicum 1/4

  • Yellow bell pepper 1/4

  • Salt to taste

  • Spring onion green a few

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Finely chop ginger and green chillies. Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add ginger and green chillies and sauté.

Step 2

Finely chop spring onions, add and sauté. Coarsely grind corn kernels. Finely chop green, red and yellow capsicums and add to the pan; sauté for a while.

Step 3

Toast the bread slices. Add corn, salt, milk to the pan and cook for a while. Chop spring onion greens, add and mix well.

Step 4

Add lemon juice and mix well. Arrange toasts on a serving platter, put the corn mixture over them and serve hot.
