Ingredients list for Bread Corn Khees

  • 4 Bread Slices
  • 1 cup Corn Kernels
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 3 Green chilli
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Spring onion
  • 1/4 Green capsicum
  • 1/4 Red capsicum
  • 1/4 Yellow bell pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • a few Spring onion green
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice

  1. Finely chop ginger and green chillies. Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add ginger and green chillies and sauté.
  2. Finely chop spring onions, add and sauté. Coarsely grind corn kernels. Finely chop green, red and yellow capsicums and add to the pan; sauté for a while.
  3. Toast the bread slices. Add corn, salt, milk to the pan and cook for a while. Chop spring onion greens, add and mix well.
  4. Add lemon juice and mix well. Arrange toasts on a serving platter, put the corn mixture over them and serve hot.
