A deep fried red pumpkin sweet made with rice flour, jaggery and of course red pumpkin.

Jaggery (gur), grated

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add pumpkin and sauté on a high heat for 2-3 minutes.
Transfer into a bowl, add jaggery and mix well. Add rice flour and mix well.
Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.Make small balls of this mixture and place on one half of a plastic sheet.
Cover it with the other half and press with hand and shape it like a gharge.
Deep fry the gharges in hot oil till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
