Ingredients list for Besan ki Nankhatai

  • 2 1/2 cups Gram Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ghee
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Ghee
  • 2 tablespoons Yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder

Method

  1. Sieve together gram flour and baking soda into a bowl. Then sieve powdered sugar into the same bowl.
  2. Add ghee, yogurt and green cardamom powder and knead into a dough. Set aside for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the oven at 180° C.
  4. Divide the dough into lemon sized balls and place them in a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven, cool down to room temperature and serve.
