Banana and Walnut Loaf This flavourful loaf will go wonderfully well with cups of hot coffee. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Nov 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Bananas, Walnuts Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 1-1.30 hour Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Banana and Walnut Loaf 2 cups Bananas puree ¾ cup Walnuts finely chopped 2 cups Refined flour (maida) 1 teaspoon Baking soda ¼ teaspoon Salt 2 Eggs ¾ cup brown sugar/jaggery 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence 100 millilitres Oil Method Preheat oven to180°C. Sift together refined flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Add walnuts and mix well. Break eggs into another bowl. Add sugar and beat well with an electric beater. Add vanilla essence and beat again. Add banana puree and beat again. Fold in flour mixture and beat till well blended. Add oil and beat once again. Pour batter in a silicon mould filling it till ¾ full, tap and place in the preheated oven. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Remove from oven, cool and demould.
