Ingredients list for Baked Methi Puri

  • 4 tablespoons Dried Fenugreek Leaves soaked in water
  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 4 tablespoons Oil

Method

  1. Preheat an oven to 180°C.
  2. Put flour, dried fenugreek leaves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt into a deep bowl.
  3. Add four tablespoons oil and sufficient water and knead into a stiff dough.
  4. Divide the dough into sixteen equal portions, shape into balls and roll out into three-inch diameter puris.
  5. Arrange the puris on a large greased baking tray.
  6. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for fifteen minutes or till golden brown.
  7. Cool and store in airtight containers.
